What is ChowChow?
A Genesis NFT mint launches first. After the mint, the $CHOW TGE opens and whole-token balances produce wallet-bound, fully on-chain pixel dog metadata.
Genesis mint
NFT minting requires a short-lived signed mint pass. The pass binds wallet, quantity, price, deadline, nonce, and bot-risk status before the contract accepts payment.
Tokenomics
$CHOW has a fixed 30,000 token supply. 10,000 tokens are reserved for Genesis Dog burn claims, 9,000 tokens are distributed pro rata to TGE contributors, 1,000 tokens seed the Uniswap v4 LP, and 10,000 tokens fund Dog NFT staking rewards.
TGE caps
The TGE soft cap is 5 ETH and the hard cap is 10 ETH. The TGE deploys dormant, then the 8 hour clock starts only after the owner sends the start transaction. Contributions above the remaining hard-cap room are automatically refunded in the same transaction.
Refund policy
If the 8 hour TGE ends below the 5 ETH soft cap, refunds can be enabled and contributors can reclaim their ETH. If the soft cap is met, the TGE can finalize and contributor tokens become claimable.
Dev cut and LP
When the TGE completes, 5% of the ETH raised is claimable by the project owner. The remaining 95% of raised ETH is paired with the fixed 1,000 $CHOW LP allocation when the Uniswap v4 pool is initialized.
Genesis Dog burn claims
During the active TGE, Genesis Dog holders can burn an NFT to reserve 1 $CHOW per burned Dog. Those tokens are not sent immediately; they become claimable only after the TGE completes.
Dog NFT staking
Genesis Dogs can also be staked instead of burned. The staking contract receives a 10,000 $CHOW reward pool and the default reward rate is about 1 $CHOW per staked Dog per year. Rewards accrue while staked and can transfer after trading is enabled.
How token-bound dogs are born
After TGE, swaps call the hook. When a wallet crosses a whole-token threshold, the hook stores a fresh seed.
Token-bound tier system
1 Shiba, 5 Doge, 10 Cheems, 25 Chad, and 100 Legendary. A seed divisible by 1000 also becomes Legendary.
Yield mechanics
The hook tracks a fee index. Holders claim ETH based on their current balance and last claimed index.
Trait rarity
Background, fur, eyes, mouth, ears, markings, neckwear, headwear, ear jewelry, face details, and aura layers each derive from independent seed bytes.

Addresses load from environment variables and link to Etherscan from the landing page.
FAQ
Genesis NFTs are minted before TGE. Token-bound dogs remain a separate post-TGE collectible/yield identity rendered from hook state and wallet balance. Burning a Genesis Dog for the TGE claim destroys that NFT, while staking keeps ownership recoverable through unstaking.
